Welcome to Year 6!
Our topic for the first half term is ‘Survival!’
This topic will include aspects of: Art, Science and Geography.
We will also be visiting Borwick Hall for our residential from the 7th - 11th Oct.
IMPORTANT: Borwick meeting - Wednesday 18th Sept @ 2.45pm and again at 6pm. Please ensure you attend one of these meetings if your child is going to Borwick.
Our first Maths topic will be about the place value of all the digits in numbers up to 10 million.
PE will be on Tuesdays and Fridays this half term. Please ensure full PE kits are in school at all times.

Reading books should come home each night, please encourage your child to read at home – at least 5 times per week. Please sign their diary to show you have discussed their reading with them.
Maths homework will be set on MyMaths each Friday and tasks are due to be completed by the following Friday. This gives the children chance to attend the Monday lunchtime homework club in school if they are struggling with any aspects of their homework.
Spelling Bee words will be tested each Friday.
Please ensure you check Class Dojo regularly as we put important information and photos on there.
